La polisemia, entendida como la pluralidad de significados, plantea la idea de que los significados no pueden simplificarse o reducirse a una única interpretación o definición unívoca. Esta complejidad es esencial, ya que sacrificar la diversidad de significados implica perder los múltiples niveles de interpretación que el lenguaje nos ofrece. Para muchos filósofos, existe una profunda relación entre el lenguaje y el pensamiento. El lenguaje no solo describe la realidad, sino que también la configura. Si no tenemos las palabras adecuadas para expresar una idea, ¿realmente podemos concebirla? Esta perspectiva implica que el lenguaje estructura nuestra experiencia del mundo y que nuestra capacidad de pensamiento está enmarcada por lo que podemos expresar.
Esta versión de la pieza es una instalación de video que pretende jugar con la superficie reflectante de la cuchara donde se proyecta el video. This perspective implies that language structures our experience of the world, and that our thinking capacities are framed by what we can express.
